This program surveys your experiences and makes predictions customized for you about how your symptoms will be affected by medical marijuana usage. It makes separate predictions for concentrates, edibles, smoking, and vaporizers too. It does this using a mathematical model which is based on the amount and ratio of THC and CBD contained within the medical marijuana (Indica/Sativa ratio, other cannabinoids, and terpenes coming soon!), and by taking calibration surveys to set the model based on your past experiences. This program can only be used with lab tested medical marijuana provided by a dispensary which provides the percent (inhale) or milligrams (edibles) of THC and CBD. It is a simplification and only uses the most common cannabinoids (usually the only information provide by the dispensary), and even under perfect conditions the predictions will always be imperfect. However, this program should act as a guide to assist you in actively monitoring your cannabis treatments and their effectiveness. Hopefully, it can help you balance desired therapeutic qualities and avoid unwanted side-effects. It offers charts which show how using medicine that's mostly CBD will vary from a mix of CBD + THC or just THC, and it also offers predictions for a specific medication.

Why our approach is different: generalizing cannabis effects by Sativa or Indica type is flawed, often wrong, and most strains are hybrids or that is a mix of them. Generalizing by strain is a little more effective, but still too unpredictable. There is a lot of variance in how a plant turns out depending on how it's grown (light, nutrients, soil/hydroponics, special additives, etc...), and two identical plant clones grown differently can look, smell, taste, and treat symptoms nothing alike. Just as human identical twins raised by different families (or even the same family) will turn out similar to but unique from their twin. Not to mention that every plant of a strain is not necessarily genetically identical. So there is too much variance to reliably classify treatments by strain or type, so that's why we predict by the lab results.

Why a ratio of CBD:THC? CBG is the precursor molecule to CBD and THC, that is to say CBG can be made into CBD or THC not both. This creates a natural ratio between CBD and THC. As dispensaries provide more details of the chemical make up in the future, perhaps we can become more accurate and offer more inputs.
