4 stars: Good, decent self-teaching course. catered for English-language language users. Very well designed, looking from a cognitive perspective. I am quite impresed to be honest. Yet, I rated it 4 stars because I believe it has still room for improvement from very good to fantastic. Certainly worth the money you paid for it
5 stars: This Babbel method can really be a good starter kick for a new language, even one with a new alphabet like Russian.

4 stars: Was using drops to learn Russian, I find it best to combine both this app and drops. Babbel really drives the education for conversational language and memorizing the alphabet.
