3 stars: It's good in concept, and obviously popular, and the lessons are well designed. But... I just want the language exercises. I don't want them interrupted every 90 seconds for unskippable dopamine-hit gaming reward animation stuff. And blocking lessons with a video ad for the paid version every 3 to 4 minutes is much more likely to make me abandon it entirely than to pay up for Super mode.
2 stars: There's quite a bit I didn't love about this app, but didn't break the experience for me. What DID break it was the recent update that totally messed up the order and content of the lessons. Like other users, I now have many words that I'm supposed to have learnt, but didn't. Didn't find it worth the price before this (AI, no grammar support etc), and recent changes only solidify this.
