3 stars: apps like instagram and google mail will freeze or crash often if you disable it. in the other hand, what this basic Android stuff does in its surface, is let you have a display view of webpages without needing to open a full fledged browser and avoid go8ng back and forth while navigating, so just let it upgrade if your phonr gets to the PlayStore by itself. nothing to do about it. ;-)
2 stars: Update and auto-update of the system webview reliably fails on the Chromecast unless Developer options > Force allow apps on external is disabled, and regardless of whether the system webview is installed on internal or external storage. All other apps don't have the same problem, and they auto-update correctly in all cases.
