5 stars: This is very much a dupe to facetime, when it was Google duo it was not good quality at all, my phones would literally crash after attempting to call someone or if the video call do go through it was so glitchy you couldn't even see the person's face. So there's definitely been a LOT of improvement since Duo, and almost, if not, does match the quality to a Facetime call exactly, so very happy about that.
5 stars: I could see my friend very clearly. I was able to show her my progress in Spring Cleaning. She let me know, if I moved the phone too fast. Also, the sound was very clear and strong, for both of us. This is the best out of 3 telephone conferencing video services. There were no ads! Yay! I'm impressed 👏 😎 👌. Thank you
4 stars: Works very well. But in most cases the called person's device never rings with no notifications, while you as a caller can hear the voice calling ring and after your unsuccessful calls, just the other party will see a missed call in his/her call history. The other issue that I noticed is remaining of call logs in my device while I have turned of this option in my setting.
4 stars: Works well so far. Although it sometimes is lacking integration with other communication apps like messages or contacts. I recently got a new phone and had to start using meet instead of the built-in Samsung video call app and although Google meet has better options and tools it's still missing some of the quality of life features of the old app ...
