4 stars: It used to be great, it was my go to calculator for all my uses. When not in an exam at least. It gave me every option for manual inputs when performing calculations. Why can't I have individual brackets? Now they've changed it made it more simple and vastly more frustrating. You could at least enable me to have the option to use the previous, superior, layout.
4 stars: Basic but handy & useful. No fancy features for advanced math class students which I'm not. Does exactly what I need standard, everyday general math. Great when I don't want to personally do math problems. Includes backspace & clear plus saves last calculation on screen.
3 stars: I must say the new placement of the backspace button and decimal buttons is really irking me. It just doesn't flow. I think Google, Inc. can find a more comfortable and interesting way to make the calculator unique unto them. Totally 5 stars if that issue is solved, though. So, UPDATE PLEASE!
2 stars: Latest update changed it from clean and functional to a giant, ugly UI that loses the calculation preview. Putting a few of the special operations (percentage, square root) on the main screen instead of in the swipe menu does not make up for all of the extra space wasted by the giant buttons. Yes, having this UI might be good for the vision-impaired, but it should have been an accessability setting rather than the only option.
