5 stars: My favorite crossword app for having fun and improving vocabulary and memory. This puzzle app is terrific because it gives choices every day from so many sources. I can decide whether to go with something simple like USA Today or a more challenging puzzle like The Atlantic or something in between like Newsday or the N.Y.Times. Something to fit anyone's schedule or crossword solving abilities. Five out of five stars!
4 stars: Seems great. I've only done the easy puzzles and a couple medium ones, but they seem good quality. I really like that there are 3 daily puzzles. I'm glad I found this app. Only minor annoyances, it always tells you that you can select a new language every time you open it. There should be an option to stop that. also, I've already left feedback, it should not be asking for feedback every time I exit. Would be 5 stars otherwise.
4 stars: Great game. More suited for novice or younger players because it locks in letters as opposed to the whole word. Technically you can fill in the entire puzzle without any previous knowledge of any of the words. Great if you want your kids to expand their vocabulary, without getting frustrated by a difficult game that for them would otherwise be impossible to complete.
