5 stars: For a free to play game, it's actually not half bad. Usually I steer clear of f2p auto-runners but with this one you can unlock things without spending a dime. Gameplay is good, nothing too revolutionary, but fun enough to keep playing. Ads are a pain, but not too frequent. I grew up with Sonic, so I might be bias..but it's a great game.
4 stars: While it can feel a little cheap at times, and doesn't fully capitalise on the power of the Sonic The Hedgehog franchise, the gameplay is great, the character systems are so addictive. Additionally, it's probably one of the most consumer-friendly endless runners on the market, with only the odd push to make in-game purchases. (And there are plenty of ways to earn the few characters that are locked behind a paywall through special events)
