5 stars: I can verify that this app works successfully with the Samsung S5Neo, including the moving time lapse feature, manual camera settings, I know it works very well (all features) with the Samsung Galaxy S6. Just tested it and it also works (all features) with the Samsung J3. I am actually using this app with the EVO Shift gimbal, which is exactly the same as the Zhiyun SmoothQ. Just connect to the
5 stars: I like it but could you slow down the responsiveness like 5 times or so? It's so difficult to control the gimbal from the phone.
4 stars: Works well with my S9 and Smooth 4 apart from an unusable, jerky zoom - very disappointed that there's been no fix for this in the 3 years I've been using it - apparently not an issue with iOS devices.
3 stars: It works, but it has a loud shutter noise and video start/stop noise. Even with everything on mute, it makes those sounds, very loudly, and I can't find options for sound in the app itself. BTW, if you don't like the app, you can use the Samsung Camera app, though you need to use the touchscreen screen to start/stop videos and take pictures.
2 stars: - Menus are displayed as a very small white font directly on top of the live camera view, which makes them difficult (impossible in bright environments) to read. - The integration with the physical record button on the gimbal itself is random. For example, when using the 'Motion Timelapse' mode, you have to click on the 'Start Recording' icon on the screen....
