5 stars: Downloaded the App before I went on holiday to help me decide what to pack. It was perfect! Spot on with rainy days, made my life easier. I now use it daily to help plan my outings and weather needs (umbrellas, hats, mittens, etc.) I like that I can pick my readout format as well. As an American in London, I haven't quite mastered Celsius yet, so I stick with good old Fahrenheit! Good app, no troubles, recommend for everyday weather needs!
4 stars: Most weather app predictions seem equal. Weather XL outstands the rest in its accuracy and on location. Thank you developers for fine work and lookforward to new stuff from you.
4 stars: Feature request: Update hourly over WiFi even when the app isn't active. Reason is that I often don't have service so I want to update the app whenever possible.
3 stars: The price to get rid of the adverts is about 2x as much as I would be willing to pay. Having said that, the adverts are not intrusive. The app is easy to use but the predictions are very inaccurate. Called for 4.5 inches of snow today when other apps called for freezing rain. Ended up with freezing rain.
2 stars: It was a very good weather app, used it for years on my phone. But lately the commercials have become extremely annoying, they take up your whole screen and you have to wait for several seconds to remove them. And this happens pretty often too. If this continues I will have to change my weather app
