4 stars: Good app that does what it says with solid stability. I primarily use it for network casting. Docked 1 star for not supporting family libraries. This is in effect a $12 app.
5 stars: Downloaded it to stream to my tv and listen on my phone and it works like a charm!!! Thanks for giving me the ability to watch video on my tv at anytime without needing bluetooth; the audio sync and everything is super impressive when tweaked properly.
5 stars: I love this app. I have the pro version so ads are not a problem for me. I did have issues when I started using a VPN. Once I disabled the VPN for Localcast, it was back to smooth sailing. It's my only casting app and it never fails. Awesome app.
5 stars: Please bring back the option of resuming videos where they left off. Shame you can't see the video progress while fast forwarding / rewinding. Best app out there by my standard. \ud83d\udc4d
3 stars: Only tested dlna with normal 1080 h264 AAC/ac3 source. Embedded subtitles don't work (they do on PS4/tv dlna clients), the sound sometimes only routes to device but not Chromecast. For now not quite useful. I remember trying this app a long time ago, on the older 2g only Chromecast and used to work better, including subtitles, etc. Hopefully all these issues can be fixed
5 stars: works great, immediately casted my phone videos to my chrome cast no problems. even has a headphone option which I LOVE. very straightforward
