5 stars: No issues, easy setup, easy to use and intuitive interface. I really like that these swotches have local control so you won't run into any issues like with wemo where their servers were down for over a day and you couldn't turn your switches on/off while on the same network. Will definitely be replacing more of my switches with these in the future.
5 stars: This is my second switch I've installed and I learned something new this time. When you're trying to establish a connection make sure you're not streaming radio or video on your phone at the same time. I was listening to the radio on my phone and couldn't get it to connect in three tries. Then once i closed the radio app it immediately connected.
3 stars: Nov. 2022 rev. Although the Appp has worked well for programing switches, it is not very good for programming the Kasa variable color LED light bulbs. It is virtually useless in programing changes to color and brightness at set times through the day. Definitely needs an update!......App does work well for programming \u0026 controlling both wired-in \u0026 plug-in switches.
3 stars: Only 3 smart actions can be enabled at the same time \u003d only 3 stars. I just want to have my lights on from sunset to bedtime and from when I awake to sunrise and I need 4 actions to do that. That being said, I find kasa switches to be extremely consistent and resilient to network outages. Other switches need manual intervention.
