4 stars: Newcomers, welcome in; veterans, temper your expectations. While network features are underwhelming, and online progress only applies to host for some godforsaken reason, actually playing the game is buttery smooth, even with only touch controls available. If you plan to play singleplayer, the game is the best here that it's ever been.
5 stars: Best Game to play for FREE made by Team Square Enix. Giving First timers and FF Gamers like myself a chance to play a great adventure without paying to play. I Appreciate the Square Enix Team Efforts and the time they put into their work and years to come.
5 stars: A solid port! The controls took a bit to learn and I didn't try multiplayer (i never played the og game multiplayer) but it's really enjoyable and runs so smoothly! I enjoy the added features as well! So pleasantly surprised!!!
3 stars: Don't hate it. But wanted to love it. Controls take some getting used to. I'm not having issues with multiplayer like everyone else...but only the host really benifits from multiplayer which is lame. Its also really stupid that one player is stuck holding an item and staying close to the team in order to keep them alive. Its not fun, its a chore.
