5 stars: Holy Hell. This is a significant update. Was not sure this app would ever be modernized. I am very pleased. Everything is very snappy and much better laid out.
3 stars: Not very well put together considering the dashcam was over $200. The interface is clunky, you can't load the manual while connected, and every time I change screens everything has to buffer and reload again. These are hallmarks of a company that cheaped out on the quality of their work
4 stars: New update is way better simple and effective in knowing if it's a event file normal file or parking and if its front or rear

5 stars: app works just fine for me on my S9+ over wifi I dont have a hotspot for cloud use so not sure about how that works . I was able to update the firmware on the blackvue dr900s easily after watching the YouTube video they have it was simple and overall I'm very happy with my product. UPDATE almost a year later still works great!
3 stars: Hardware and camera are great... This app is terrible, constantly disconnecting or not finding the camera wifi... Slow and clunky to use when it does connect
5 stars: Wow. App used to be terrible but this new clean interface is way better.
3 stars: Remember to tell your WiFi to forget the connection and reconnect or you can't interact with the camera through the app
