5 stars: I have been using OpenTable for many years due to linking from restaurants I already go to. Have recently installed the app. It is easy to use plus helps me manage all my reservations. It's great for booking at busy places as I can easily book weeks in advance, modify as needed, and get notified as reservations get closer. I now wish that other restaurants would use it too.
4 stars: open table app disappoints. cannot search for a restaurant by name. this is a 'must have' feature which makes or breaks the easy use of the app. recent changes across the board by open table are not customer friendly. UPDATED: search feature is present. Improvements to the app definitely positive. Much quicker and easier to find restaurants by name, location, cuisine, and type. Kudos to open table for listening.
5 stars: I have used open table many times and I really love it. It makes getting a reservation easy by showing you all the places near where you want and what time they have available without having to backtrack to check another one. All on one screen. And even last minute reservations are doable.
4 stars: Easy to use. Works well as long as the restaurant itself is following protocol with the app use. I would like to see a better browse feature. It tends to show or at least recommend me the same 5 or 6 restaurants over and over.
