3 stars: This used to be such a good app, until all the sudden, it just wont let me sign in! Ive clicked on sign in, It says if I'm trying to sign in with my email, I click continue, but it just sends me back to the sign in menu! This went from good to horrible, please fix! Edit: Ok, it's plain inconsistent, it let me sign in for a week, then for a bit, it wont let me.
3 stars: Overall, a decent app. Most features work pretty well. The biggest issue is the friends list, which fails to load much more often than it works. It can make the app a little inconvenient, especially if you're trying to use friends' online status to decide whether or not you want to get on your xbox.
3 stars: Would be a better app if playback for captures actually worked properly. I have a fast phone with gigabyte internet connection, and yet still can't load videos unless I wait sometimes up to an hour. Kinda sad coming from a higher tier company/developer. Hopefully it will be fixed in future patches.
5 stars: The XBox app makes for a sufficient way to keep track of your XBox Live friends, messages and clubs, and replying to messages without needing to use the remote or connect a USB keyboard to your XB1. Additionally, since it notifies you of achievements you unlock, you can set the app to use a custom notification sound in your phone's settings and have a personalized achievement sound.
