5 stars: This app has tons of potential to overtake another app who I won't mention it's name. Maybe if it was opened up to more than just close friends and added filters to the camera. Something like streaks and a best friends list would be amazing. Also, it could be a good opportunity to utilize Samsung's camera abilities hint hint. Good effort on this app though!
4 stars: Although I see a use in this app and I really digging it, I think being able to post photos and videos like in the normal feed but just for the people you add to your close friends would be wonderful and have more sense than just being another messenger app. I know you already tested that in the original app (I heard that in one of The Verge podcasts), but now that you have a totally different app it would really make more sense.
5 stars: Awesome app. The most interesting feature on the app is quite likely the auto-status update. When you enable it, this feature is going to allow Threads to request your smartphone's location, movement, battery level and network connection. Using this, Threads will be able to share relevant information to your close friends. I just loved it.
