4 stars: The app is poorly designed. I guess since we've already payed for the product, they don't care. Update. I've received some communication from Joule. Although some of the issues in the app are still there, I am convinced that they indeed do care and are working to fix the issues.
5 stars: If you want the best tool to cook with then research it and you will love what you find. The app is awesome and the food you make will wow everyone!

3 stars: This apps been fine. It has been wonderful to cook with. However the reason update is forcing Camera Permission? Yeah, that's not happening, even if it is for package scan, that should be an in app feature that I can opt out of.
3 stars: It's a bit sluggish and unresponsive at times but overall it's okay. My biggest gripe is it forces the water to be at exact temp before you start the timer.
4 stars: Great app, disappointed I can no longer start my timer before the water is heated. If fixed I'll do five stars like this app deserves.
5 stars: I don't even have a joule I got a different sous vide machine, but this is simply a great app for anyone interested in or currently working with a sous vide
