3 stars: Although I am a fan, in my honest opinion, coming from the depths of my petty heart: the monsters are not cute. They are pretty ugly. I was expecting cute or at least "strong" looking. Maybe my standards are high for things that end in "mon" (pokemon, digimon). (But even Alphabear has cuter "selections" than this.) As for a game, it's not very interactive. Mash buttons, walk, level up. Too much of a "grind" kind of game. I hope the game expands to maybe rpg or battling with other wokamons. And also, cuter or fierce looking wokamons that inspire me to walk, not "dopey" mons.
3 stars: A very addicting a game and a great motivator to get moving. You can look at your stats vs your friends and there is no shortage of unlockable content. however this app is not without it's bugs and glitches. If you use your pohone as your pedometer, Wokamon seems to freeze or at least miss steps (I loose about 5% of my steps with Wokamon compared to another pedometer app on my phone) good news is that the app is compatible with many popular pedometer devices including Fit bit which might give you a more accurate step count. The app seems to get glitchy if you lose service for a second. ie a video bonuses won't play if you lose service even if service is regained. But overall its a fun app with plenty of motivation to get those steps in.
