5 stars: Hanping Chinese SoundBox apk download Awesome app! - This is the app I wish I had before when I started studying Mandarin (well, Taiwanese, buy close enough) in 1991. Of course there weren't any (mobile) apps then lol! But every student of Chinese can benefit *immensely* from it. And even without the IAP (in-app purchase) they give you a TON of content for free-- without ads! Perfect!

5 stars: Accurate pronunciation - Many native speakers make mistakes with 'r' sound. Not the speaker in this recording. Chinese language doesn't have 'r' sounds, the 'r' in hanyu pinyin is just a symbol to represent a sound it must not be sounded like a real 'r' in English like many native speakers and learners alike.
