4 stars: BBC News apk download - When using the Share function why on earth does the app insist on captioning the shared story with "I saw this on the BBC and thought you should see it"? Can you please at least add an option to remove this - like adding or removing automatic signatures in emails? I'd have thought the fact that I've taken the time to share a link to a BBC news story is pretty self explanatory.
3 stars: BBC News apk download - After the recent issues with it crashing as soon as you open it after the last update I reduced this app to 1 star & installed Sky news instead. Now the bugs seem to have been fixed I came bck on to give this its 5* rating again. UNFORTUNATELY I cant do this yet as it still crashes if you open certain videos, therefore I cant give it more than 3*! Once again BBC sort out the technical issues please.
3 stars: - Occasional crash. Painfully slow at times, unlike previous versions. Caching algorithm is very poor and does not update content when it has changed on the server. Smaller videos can't be made fullscreen before they start playing = miss first 10s fiddling about trying to make it so.
5 stars: - The app itself is well built but the content seems to be heading towards "gotcha" journalism. People don't need a trending or top stories section as it is just repeating the news in other sections, at least allow the user to remove any section they don't want. Other than that, the app is a fine news app!!
