2 stars: Carista OBD2 apk download - Good app; I was able to modify several options (but not all) on my 2013 Jetta 2.5 SE w/o the MFD. Two issues: before I purchased the one week subscription the app said I had an error code stored, and to buy to find out what it is (I already knew I didn't have a code stored). This seemed really scammy. Second, their subscription pay structure is a joke. Also, don't believe the "dealer level technology"- it isn't, at least for Volkswagens. It is a decent alternative for the home wrench turner, but you can't do nearly as much as a pro with the right computer equipment.
3 stars: Carista OBD2 apk download - Bought the carista blue tooth adapter and was supposed to get a 30 day free trial. Nothing came with it other than the adapter. When I tried to change a setting on my car it made me purchase a week trial of pro mode for $9.99. I could have bought an adapter for half the price and then paid for pro. As it is I'm out 50 bucks to make my car stop honking when I unlock it. Works as advertised but not happy about spending 50 bucks to change a setting when it could have been less
4 stars: - I would love to give this app a 5 because it worked flawlessly in my Audi that I just junked (buyer beware oil consumption issues , faulty seals, shady warranty loop holes, underhanded) for the Audi it gets a 5 BUT for my new Volvo S60 its only gets a 4 and thats generous because it doesnt do much when it could really stand out here. PLEASE ADD VOLVO and I will switch my review to a 5 happily.
3 stars: - 3 stars since I was able to change settings on my 4runner, but I hate the subscription pricing model. If you make a setting and don't like it you better figure it out within a week.
