4 stars: EDIT: since the latest update, finishing a song at all just triggers the high score applause and label and stuff even if it didn't even beat your previous high score. I played a song and missed every note on purpose and it said high score of 0. The actual high score is retained in the song select menu though. high performance mode and lowering resolution to 720p is the best settings for an s7 edge FYI (in 1080p and 1440p the icons and arrows are huge and in slightly different places, actually making the game harder to play.)
5 stars: This is an excellent Stepmania port. I've been able to put a couple hundred hours into some of my favorite packs with this. Also, from what I've seen there is excellent support from the dev(s), which is nice because sometimes the process of changing some settings or downloading songs isn't very intuitive. The only other thing I have is just a suggestion to add rates. I tend to use them on almost every song and I'm sure many others do so as well.
5 stars: I'm really digging this game. This takes me back to playing step mania in high school in '04. I can tell I'm gonna burn some nights way while traveling jamming out. This game makes me want to get a dance pad again 😄
