2 stars: Oxford Dictionary of English & Thesaurus apk download - The updated version is terrible. It's less straightforward to switch between the dictionary and the thesaurus (why is there an interchange symbol between them as if this is a translation app?) and I really dislike the childish new look. My previous five-star rating will return when it's warranted.
3 stars: Oxford Dictionary of English & Thesaurus apk download - Ok, but for the outrageous price it feels like it should be so much better. Worst feature is the nag for a 5-star rating every time you use it. After paying that price they have to be joking! Reduced to 1 star because of that nagging
4 stars: - This app is adequate for the task it was designed for. In my humble opinion, the 'word of the day' is pointless and should be got rid of. There should also be no adverts so the dictionary buttons at the bottom of the screen (constituting a sly form of advertising) should go. Where a word is not in the standard dictionary database it should automatically be searched for online as well as all word derivatives and alternative pronunciations being included in the audible words database.
5 stars: - It's quick and efficient. I like that it has different facts, other information to learn, and a word of the day. My children try to use the word all day and try to scramble them or see how many other words we can find in the word.
2 stars: - This dictionary is way overpriced for what you actually get. The interface is awkward and it pesters you constantly to give it a 5 star review, which is incredibly annoying. There are much better options available.
