5 stars: Fun little game when going out for a walk. It has changed a lot since I began in 2016 and while there is more focus on the paid events, there's still plenty to keep one occupied in terms of free play. I personally never spent a cent on this game but each to their own. Some people complain about the game not loading properly but for myself, it's never been an issue on both iPhones and two Nokia models (4.2 and XR20).
2 stars: Game has gone downhill fast in the past 6 months. It's clear the game is not the focus for Niantic, it's simply a way to to collect and monetize location based player data. The game is getting more and more buggy, only the things important to gathering data get fixed quickly, the rest may or may not be dealt with in the future. Too bad, the game used to be fun.
