4 stars: Edit: developer responded with a solution that appears to have resolved the constant promos. Thats good. Brave is still much faster though. Used to love it. Now there is a long delay at start that requires a refresh to bypass. Also get the
3 stars: It works pretty well, and I've been using it for a long time with limited issues. However, every few months, it starts letting ads through, and when it prompted for updates, nothing downloads or changes so I'm not wholly sure it's updating. A reinstall usually fixes this, but it's definitely a bit of a problem. Still the best I've had though.
3 stars: I really do like the app and have been using it for years. If a site has ads you can easily report it and it does get fixed fast. However recently after updating, at the top of my home screen there's now a chest that says
2 stars: The app worked well for a while and then a weird problem started. I couldn't close any tab and couldn't switch between tabs. Tried to close the app (from menu) and re-open it - initially it worked, but later on it wouldn't work any more and even uninstalling and reinstalling the app wouldn't fix the issue. It's either a virus (very strange) or a bug in the app.
