5 stars: Fun. No control in fights though. Whether that's good or bad is up to you. Update: early game is very very fun. Around level 15 to 20 the game basically forces you to buy the newest ship to avoid being unfairly destroyed every battle. It was still enjoyable around level 15 since the unfair battles really only showed up in 1 in 5 battles. I would really prefer to have opponents weighted towards being in the same ship class.
4 stars: Love the theme and most of the premise, but progress almost slows to a crawl by rank ~200 (a couple hours into the game). Making bigger ships require more and more downtime to
2 stars: It's a fun game, but once you hit level 15 the amount of resources you need becomes quite overwhelming. Very few ways to get more experience. The main one being the arena, which I'm already severely outclassed. I'm only winning because I paid for a premium ship. Game seems very pay to win with high upgrade costs and a steep difficulty curve.
