4 stars: it's a good app. it can become quite expensive at times because of the automatic tip fees, and delivery fee. but I always tip more then basic. great and easy app to use. love it. just be prepared. food usually arrives hot as if it was just made. but sometimes you get less then you hoped for. it can happen. otherwise. 4 out of 5. the drivers are usually always polite and loving.
4 stars: With dash pass ordering becomes nice as you're not dropping $10+ just on their fees. Be aware items on doordash are already more expensive than if you were to order in restaurant. Not sure if this is a hidden doordash markup or if it comes from the restaurant. Regardless, items tend to be $3+ more expensive in app compared to just calling and ordering for pickup outside of the app.
3 stars: The fact that I'm tipping before I even receive a service is annoying enough. The fact that the default suggestion for the tip on the order I just placed (just three items from a mid-range restaurant) was 27% is extremely obnoxious. Also, I've experienced several instances where I've tried to order something and the app tells me that the restaurant is closed, but I can still place an order through other delivery apps.
