4 stars: I took off one star because of the subtitles. I use HBO Max on my Chronebook and the subtitles appear on every other episode. I have done everything to turn them off, go the subtitles setting and everything to remove them but nothing works. Not even the settings. It's really frustrating! Might have to cancel my subscription and save my money for a better Network.
3 stars: Good content, horrible app. As much as I like HBO Max because it has so many more movies and TV shows compared to alot of streaming services, the app sucks. It seems like I have nonstop issues with it. I always have problems with movies and shows not playing after I watched half of it and come back to it later, it telling me
3 stars: Newest Update Issues: Now every time I open the app it no longer goes to my home page. I actually have to go to the search engine to locate/continue the show I'm watching...very annoying. It also always starts now with subtitles. I have to manually disable subtitles, which requires first clicking on
