3 stars: I am enjoying the puzzles, though as others have said the price is too high. I also experience strange lags in the keyboard input that only happen in this app. For me it's worth it for the crosswords but I have no trouble identifying with the people who won't/can't pay $53 a year...
4 stars: I loved this app. The only negative thing I can say is that I had purchased the paid version on my iPhone a few years back and once I changed to an android phone, I lost my paid subscription. I don't love it enough to pay for it twice though, but it would be nice if the subscription was tied to my email address and not my Google Play/App Store account.
3 stars: Spelling Bee has become unplayable. In the last week, the font has become so large that the game is three screens long. All of the controls (enter, delete, shuffle) are way below the game board, and the list of words entered is a total mess. I submitted a request, including screenshots, but only received a canned response
3 stars: Slightly laggy, especially on large Sunday grids. Needs a function to show all puzzles in progress, like on the web version. It would be nice if we could access variety puzzles on the app, too, or at least the one that use regular crossword grids, like cryptics and puns and anagrams.
