3 stars: You guys really need to fix the app in landscape mode. Used to work before. Thanks in advance \ud83d\ude0f It would be nice if the playback button was on the screen also vs down at the bottom... i.e. not visible in landscape mode. Video crashes if the app starts in landscape and tries to open video in landscape. i.e. it returns to the front menu and never shows the live video of the cams.
5 stars: Good app but takes a bit of getting used to. The option for AI is good if you want to pay, which I opted out of. It does the job of a basic video door bell. The connection to the chime is not the best and the loudness that is claimed is just nonsense... it absolutely cannot replace the loudness of a doorbell which is heard throughout the house.
4 stars: Good device for the money. Glitching on updates all the time, especially wyze cam v3 (v2 seems to work fine for some reason), and requires constant reboots to keep up to date on firmware (auto-update setting doesn't seem to work on v3 for some reason). However, the stream works great, regardless.
4 stars: Editing my review to 4 stars from 3, previous issues of the camera disconnecting has been solved in updates. I've had the wyze cam for a few years now and it's a great budget cam. My only complaint is that you need a subscription in order to record during the 5 mins after your last recording. However the subscription still ends up being cheaper than Ring camera.
