5 stars: An amazing, pleasantly non-annoying, professional app that has given me no problems in the five years I have used it after updates. Has in-app purchases for many more dictionaries. What a wonderful work by its programmers! I've been disappointed by other language apps, but not this one, standing tall among them. I wish there was a way to search example sentences, but it's not a real complaint. Recommended.
4 stars: Very useful, you can listen to the native pronunciation of phrases. The only drawback is for words with two or more characters, the pronunciation uses tones as if the characters are separate (not as a phrase), but in the sentences the tones are read correctly, so i have to listen to whole sentences to find out how the phrase is supposed to sound. The ability to write on screen is also good for practicing writing.
5 stars: Excellent app that I've used for several years now. The menu takes a bit of time to learn but as a phone app it has been excellent for learning and storing words. Mandarin + Cantonese voice to text and stroke order are most important to me.
3 stars: Good and easy to use, mostly! However, I added the Cantonese dictionary and the sound clips are still in Mandarin, even though I downloaded the Cantonese pack. I hope there's some way to get Cantonese audio?
