4 stars: Generally works okay, but periodically the app won't open, sometimes for an entire day! My I5 does a good job cleaning, but can't depend on it always going home when the battery charge is low (will come home to find it dead somewhere in the house). The app may or may not notify me of the condition. When working correctly, it does a nice job of freeing us up from vacuuming. Is it the app or the model?
4 stars: The Roomba i8+ is 5stars and the app is 3stars. The app can be buggy from time to time and force close or sometimes not allow cleaning zones to be created or changed. A tip if you are having problems with your device and the map : MAKE SURE YOU HAVE SUFFICIENT LIGHTING IF YOU ARE RUNNING AT NIGHT. Making sure a light was on in every room made a big difference with how everything worked.
4 stars: Good app. Occasionally things go a bit awry but I don't know if that's the app or if it's my robot. Seen as the app is my main interface to what the robot does then I think its valid to include that. It could do with a delayed start function.
5 stars: I recently purchased 2 roombas with the self emptying add on and I loveeee them... I have had irobotic roombas for the pass 25 years or so ( 4 before I bought these 2 new ones) but these new ones are the best yet. I need to get the mopping robot also, in time when I have some extra money to spare.
