4 stars: Great app when it works. Had to reinstall and now it constantly freezes and crashes. It doesn't allow me to download offline maps I have and again just freezes. Been trying for a day to plot a route with no success. I take it back, it's working great now so updated review. Only thing I dislike is clicking between routes to see in full. But works great with my downloaded maps.
3 stars: So, who was the clever sausage that decided the user couldn't see how far they'd travelled, when recording a route, until they'd finished? Recording my walks is what I needed this for so the app rather falls at the first fence! Considering OS is the definitive map company, the maps are only quite good. There are so many good things that OS could have done and haven't. For the price they need to do much better.
4 stars: Good, but could be better. Would be helpful if you could see multiple/all available walking routes overlaid on an area of the map at once rather than having to click into one at a time. Would welcome addition of a key or popup key when you click on landranger map details and symbols. Every now and then the app freezes and restarts itself.
3 stars: I used to love this App and 2 months ago I would have given 5 stars. It was great to have as a back up to paper maps on walks and particularly useful for lockdown and finding new local walks. However, I can no longer zoom in to the maps to get a Landranger view which is very frustrating given I pay for a subscription...
