3 stars: update 10.13.2020 filter and free is way better, but i guess i dont get this app, doesn't fit my needs as a resource for hiking trail maps. maybe i am missing something but you seem to have to download so many maps to try and cover an area, and even then most of the maps dont show all the trails and at a proper scale. If you are looking for offline trail maps VisitorMaps is a better option
5 stars: I say I like to use this avenza because and mostly house me on cases like finding a place where there is Wildland Fire and I really house gives good directions and easy to read thank you. Avenza map
4 stars: The app worked very well for navigating on logging roads far off roads shown on ordinary road maps. I would give five stars if 1) the map store were easier to use, especially on a small tablet, where very little of the map is visible behind the list of maps, 2) instructions were clearer, like how to record a track and find it later, like how to import a map from another source. It's a great app, but needs to be easier to use.
5 stars: I got it to show where I am on a park brochure map offline. It does the hell out of that, and a bunch of fancy other stuff I don't know how to get the most out of, but I can think of uses for each. Looks good, works well. Good on battery when used in glances navigating, like checking a watch. I use it on a cheap WalMart phone with no service.
