3 stars: Works fairly well for identifying stuff. Problems: - Home screen is much too busy, should be an app setting to go straight to camera - Don't need the warning every time camera is selected! - No way to shut the app down, have to force close, Back button when on home screen should close the app completely - Takes too long to identify species, difficult to keep subject in the frame while it searches
4 stars: tried a few similar apps. this is not nearly as good as google lens, but it's by far the best one in its category, to find the actual plant species for sure (which google doesn't do) and it does work offline. when it manages to find it, it's quite precise and great. but, most times, it can't. even for simple things like a wild cherry. the ux and general app smoothness \u0026 speed are also lacking a lot on my $999 pixel 3.

5 stars: Very nice app! I would say since it is a fairly new app I won't be too harsh on it. I use the app all the time! It is very fun to use, rewarding, and educational! It of course isn't perfect, but for the most part can guess a lot of different insect,fungi,mammal, and etc species! I would definitely recommend!
