4 stars: Good app, features, functionality, programming, performance, but still buggy at times. Overall, If you take the time to realize how much this ecobee 4 can do, especially if you have a heat pump, it's probably the best thermostat out there. Extremely customizable!
3 stars: Ads are gone but they never should have been there. The geofencing feature turns on my furnace until a program change cancels, not the 2 hour time period I have my system set for. The app is also extremely limited as opposed to the web interface.
4 stars: It's a good app but what's crazy ( and why I didn't give it 5 stars) is that there is an insane amount of historical data and other analysis on my system that you can get on their website that you can't get in the app. It's a huge oversight.
5 stars: Love being able to control our thermostat from my phone. If I forget to adjust the settings I can do it with this app. Saves on our energy bills.
5 stars: Love this app. It's easy to use and works reliably. Loads quickly even when I'm not on my home wifi so I can quickly change the heat when I'm on my way home
3 stars: Having trouble merging two thermostats into one control so I don't have to individually set them both. Plus I would also like the location awareness to be merged for the away and home features.
