4 stars: As far as GPS apps go the Lyft app is very good with one exception. At the end of the directions when it starts to indicate the pick up address, it gives a range of addresses. For example: 1000-1400 Main St. A range of addresses is no good to me whatsoever. What I need is the actual ending address somewhere on the screen all the time so I know exactly what I am looking for. If you could fix this on the app it would be wonderful.
4 stars: The embedded GPS is often slow and has some strange quirks (like sending you onto a freeway when not necessary or choosing the loading area as a pickup rather than the front of the store). Since I've been driving over 5 years I've learned to work within these issues but new drivers are counting on this app for income and it should work better.
3 stars: App is glitchy as hell. Different app experience from one phone to the next (even Android to a different Android). Some users have certain features that others don't, even when both have current updates. Useful features disappear with updates (for example: dark mode).
5 stars: This app is great. The switching between Lyft and Maps during a ride helps, but many a time takes me through the back way or entirely wrong location. I have to call the rider or follow the riders direction if they know to the desired destination Today the App is neither loading nor working. This has to be prevented.
