3 stars: This app almost has too much information. It's hard to follow when you're not a computer geek. Example: I have booked a flight already. AA sent me a copy of the itenerary (sp?) and instructed me to go on the web for more info. I did, but the app then instructed me to act like I had no flight scheduled. What? I can't even get the AA icon to show up with my other icons. What #2?
4 stars: Overall the app capability is good. I would like it if American had more upgrade transparency. Rather than just showing if you're on the list or not it would be good if they actually showed seats available. When you're on the upgrade list whether number 3 or 30 you have no idea if there is even a chance you can make it.
5 stars: To get the boarding pass to work: Check in and it will pop up. I have had similar problems with it not working but that worked for me. So check in and the boarding pass will pop up
3 stars: It works, but can be awkward. Checking for early flights frequently errors out. I had issues getting the rebook due to delayed flight feature to work, and when it did work, I still had to go to counter to get a seat assignment.
4 stars: I've been using the app for nearly weekly round trips for the past year and it has generally been quite reliable and slowly improving. However, the most recent update seems to have broken the widget that allows easy 1-button access to the boarding pass.
