5 stars: Man, imagine my surprise when I decided to reinstall this game after so many years to then find it works just as well as it did back then. It's even been updated (or it might even have been futureproofed) to actually take advantage of the wider screens that phones have these days. Anyway, PVZ is a true classic of a mobile game. 3 stars: I understand being bombarded with ads for a free game, but too many ads CRASH THE GAME. For instance, almost every time I get a Facebook Games ad, at the end of the ad there's no button to close it--EVERY SCREEN PRESS brings me to the Play Store. I have to quit the game and restart when that happens, and it's supremely annoying. Otherwise, the game is excellent.
3 stars: It is what it is. I downloaded this on a separate device, and after getting pretty far into the game I lost all my progress, even though I was logged in and saved frequently. I thought it was a one in a million glitch, so I eventually downloaded again but alas, I lost all my progress. It's not a big deal though because you can watch ads to get extremely op advantages, which makes the game too easy.
