4 stars: Seems to work over all, however, entire experience seems a bit clunky and unwieldy. Had a problem and paid 24.99 for them to fix. They wanted complete access to my wi-fi network, user name password and mac address. Was unwilling to do that so 25 dollars down drain. During kickstarter campaign they assured everyone they could cut off a device automatically with no intrusion...apparently not.
4 stars: It seems fine. A few hiccups. Not completely sure if it's doing anything. 😁 Update, this past week Akita detected network connections from an unknown MAC address every night around 11pm. It took me a while to figure out what was going on, but it turned out to be the ping from my work VPN that is left connected.
5 stars: Having read the previous review, I just want to say that I like my Akita very much! I'm not entirely sure what it does but it's probably better that way. I feel better knowing it's there and that you guys are on my side. Shalom, my friends, and stay healthy. PS: I'm looking forward to the update that expands it's capabilities to include my hardwired devices.
4 stars: I keep getting notifications, but when I check my router logs not finding any associated MAC addresses. Assuming it's devices the try to connect to my captive guest portal but never authenticate
