5 stars: This app was awesome on a poorly marked trail in the Big South Fork national park. The user interface is intuitive, and the fact that you can download maps offline without subscribing is a huge plus. This is now my primary mapping and trail app!
4 stars: The hikers app! Pick a suggested walk or create your own then post it up if you want, check your position and integrate with w3w for start, finish and viewpoints, add AR for scene identification; what's not to like, it's superb!
5 stars: Very accurate and detailed. Easy to navigate. I import trails from my smart watch's app/website, and the trail is displayed more accurately in Viewranger than in the smart watch software.
4 stars: Good but dont like the zoom, would be good if there was a slider or I could use volume key for zoom. Maybe you can but can't see how.
4 stars: I use this app a lot for cycling. I have fitted a large capacity battery to an old phone and I can follow my route if I select the display on option. The app could do with a memory to always keep the display on. On start up. I also find it very difficult to edit a route that I want to follow. Update these points and you will get 5 stars.
4 stars: Best app until recently. But then...What were you thinking with the new design?? It takes a fifth of my screen off when recording a track, for a simple pause button, making the map smaller and adding no functionality. Come on, guys, it's so obvious, didn't you ask any users for feedback b...
