4 stars: nice app. it's good for word/character recognition. guess right and hit the guy guess wrong get hit. I only gave 4 stars because the English translation is a little bad. not really bad just a little. would be a good app for kids (veteran anime watchers who want to learn Japanese so they don't need subtitles. not so much as I was more focused on symbol recognition rather than speach) still good app
4 stars: Good fun! Good practice, will be using this. Wish there was more interactivity when it comes to learning the letters. If there was a way to have the player learn the way to write it before the current mini game that would be really helpful! Like maybe the players finger is the sword and you have them swipe and attack things on the screen that are in the shape of the appropriate lettering
3 stars: Pretty good, but way too many ads makes it too annoying and the amount of grinding required to get forward is too high. Good way to refresh your hiragana/katakana, but the grind gets vocabulary advancement too slow. I don't think this has kanji at all or it's way too far off.
