5 stars: Love these Fabriq speakers. Initially set up through the apps. Then I can stream music to them over wifi from any iOS device. Android devices can only stream via the app. I also added them to SmartThings for home automation functions. I believe these were all possible because of the built in DLNA capabilities.
4 stars: Good as a simple Bluetooth speaker hooked up to almost anything. The chorus and riff are good speakers but not so good as a Alexa alternative cause of this horrid app and the connection between it. When used as a Bluetooth speaker it's great as a small room speaker and bookshelf speaker. Alexa can still be used in the app if your smart enough to use it with your phone and even Google will work via phone or app with Bluetooth!!!
3 stars: Speaker is great, but the app... not so much.
3 stars: Occasionally the speaker just forgets the network and requires re installation. Took me a long time to realize that a router reboot is always necessary when reinstalling the speaker. Speaker sounds good. The volume spectrum really needs to be shifted to lower volumes, for a large space, I only use the lower 10% of the volume bar, which makes a pain to use for quiet listening....
3 stars: I love the concept, and it works great, but I can't make playlists or import playlists from music that is on my phone. That was the whole reason I purchased this unit.
