4 stars: Phoenix - Facebook & Messenger apk download - Good looking app. I would definitely use it but its missing two things really important to me. If you could add the ability to still video/call using Facebook's Messenger API, and the ability to sync Messenger/Facebook contacts, this app would blow all the other Facebook clients and wrappers out of the water. Right now I can go to my phone contacts and Message or Video call any of my Facebook contacts, but only if Facebook Messenger is installed. I think contact sync is pretty important too.
4 stars: Phoenix - Facebook & Messenger apk download - Love the look and feel. Super smooth. Added features on a daily basis. Only thing I have found is I am not receiving push notifications. I need to open the application to see any. If you can fix the push notifications so I receive them on my Moto Z that would be a huge fix. Also, I notice when using the dark theme, which I prefer, text appears dark when you're typing, say, a status update. One question. Can you make phone calls from the integrated messenger? I haven't found this feature yet. I would rather not have to download the Facebook Messenger app.
4 stars: - It's a cool start! But I couldn't mute a certain group, or see certain posts first, which I use to curate my Facebook feed and make sure that I can the right updates, and never get bothered from pages which I visit once every few months. I also could not go to a friend's profile from the messenger... More features like those would come in handy and be really awesome! I'll continue using this for a while to test it out.
4 stars: - Generally a good, lightweight alternative if you don't need things to be instant. Some functionality is limited but that's to be expected. The only thing that niggles at me is the location/colour of the check-in at the top of the feed. It is directly below the notifications and catches my eye as if there is a notification.
