5 stars: I really like the format of this app. It is nice not needing a PhD in CAD to build and test simple circuits. What would put this app over the top is the inclusion of more components such as fuses, manufacturer ICs (LM7805 for example) and components with the values already in place (ie: 1N4004 diode). I would like to select components just like I was buying them off the shelf. A bill of material would be a very nice addition. Drainable DC sources (ie: a battery source with a max/min voltage range and a mah selection). Overall very pleased as a weekend electronics enthusiast.
5 stars: This IS the best £12 you'll ever spend if you're learning about electronics. Get yourself a good book, simulate every circuit in it, understand exactly how it's working, and make becoming an electronics engineer a great deal easier for yourself. Skip buying yourself a scope, function generator, and all the components you would need to build the circuits. It's that good!! Worth WAY more than you're paying for it. You'll thank me for the advice!
5 stars: Best circuit emulator I've found so far. A few things I dont like about it, but I'll get used to it. I do find the symbol library somewhat limited for a design I'd like to draw. The only thing better would be a PCB drawing emulator connected to this app. Might be well worth the $14.95 if the componant submissions i want (and any in the future that are submitted) are updated!!!!
