4 stars: I went ahead and started paying the $2 a month to remove ads from my inbox which kind sucks to have to pay for it but it's now not as cluttered and I don't try to click on an email and accidentally hit the ad instead. I've been with yahoo mail for many years and I prefer it over other companies
3 stars: the phone app is hideous. It hides back and forth emails in the details of the following emails. Who looks for emails that way?? My boss sends an important email to which I need to refer. Who thinks I need to look in the ten following responses by others some of which are off topic! It is maddening. The PC classic interface still works in a sane fashion otherwise I would switch to gmail or some other app.
2 stars: Too many annoyances to mention all. one of them is clicking on message notification bar when a new message arrive doesn't bring up the new message. most of the time it will bring up the last message the user is looking at. Other times it will take you to the super annoying user agreement screen. Spam like ads placed in inbox that can easily be mistaken for a new message. the list goes on.
