5 stars: I was looking for something to occupy and enhance my cognitive abilities. Word Nut meets these needs. Although you have to listen to advertisements to earn extra points to use hints, they are no more than 30 seconds each. Personally I have done most of my Christmas shopping from the products being offered for very reasonable prices. However beware this online game can be addictive. Lol.

3 stars: Game play is quick and easy but the time between each level is too long. Between all the little animations (that you can't turn off) and pop ups for level rewards, then the ads which are still 10-15 seconds even if you keep hitting the skip button, it feels like you're spending more time waiting to play than actually playing.
3 stars: If at least 1/2 of the ads were cut, I'd consider giving 5 stars. Some words are accepted at certain levels and then those same words are deemed incorrect on other levels. I have no clue as to why I'm collecting certain items. I only focus on the coins. The game is great as a time-filler.
