5 stars: This is one of the best parts of being in the Xbox ecosystem. Remote play on this app frees up the TV. Remote Play is usually a very smooth experience. It's also cool to see achievements, who's online, and remotely install games you may want to play. This app is a nesseicity for the Xbox Ecosystem.
5 stars: Update 15 August 2022*** The captures tab in the app keeps removing recent captures. I have to restart the app mutliple times and refresh the capture area for the most recent clips to appear. Great app and very easy to navigate. I like the fact that I can access my saved captures from the app and just the general navigation is very easy to use.
4 stars: very useful app. Great if you're not at home and need to chat with your mates. Only one thing would make this perfect. the ability to play some games on phone. obviously some aren't compatible, but games like Minecraft would be perfect. Especially if you run a realm or world with your friends. you might already be able to do this. I'm new to Xbox app. otherwise, very useful
4 stars: The app is generally good and works well with all integrated features. Unfortunately the most recent update has caused a permanent notification dot (green) to appear on the profile and settings icons. It seems that they want to coerce users into linking a third-party account but if you dont have one then like me you'll be permanently notified. Maybe its just a bug, if not then its simply an unnecessary irritation.
