5 stars: It's actually a really good game, its not pay to win or pay to get ahead. It's definitely a slower pace if you dont pay for extra gems but you can still progress if you dont. The prices for gems and such are too crazy and the special deals or packages do make it worth while. Only thing I would add is make the quests more interactive.
4 stars: I really do enjoy this game. Great, casual, long term game. The shop leveling could go a little faster and there could be more monthly rewards for having a 'royal' membership, since it does support the development of the game. But it's a nice little game to just click at when i need to take my mind away from things.
3 stars: I really enjoy the game play and the characters, but it is really frustrating to have entire item types only available through purchase. And not a small purchase either! I'm fairly new at the game but currently the exclusive content I've unlocked the ability to pay for costs about $100 CAD. If it was available by any in game currency, even through a lot of gems then that would be much better
2 stars: This game has potential. But without paying for a subscription to repair with gold the game is becoming pointless. Every three fights I lose on average two items. Some fights I lose three. Then there is the issue of being able to play only 5 minutes every half hour or hour. If they ever fix these issues I might return. Uninstalling.
